Britannia's 757 fleet was gaining traction and the end was nigh for the 737-200s. Inter European's based unit gave up a week before the end of the summer season: the AOM MD-80 was on a Saturday morning operating Friday's Heraklion flight, and the Aire d'Evasions DC-8 turned up on Saturday evening to operate the Saturday first wave departure (can't remember where). For some reason spotters were invited to look on Air UK F-27 G-BMXD one Saturday morning. Eurowings started a scheduled service from Dusseldorf, with most of their ATR42 fleet still in RFG or NFD colours. The year ended on a good note for Icelanders visiting the Metro Centre, but on a bad note for based Socata Tampico G-BTZP which ended up nose first in the grass.

I am now slowly uploading all the photos of aircraft I have taken since then. Nice!
