This blog started as uploading scans of c. 80 photo albums of aircraft taken during the 1990s, mainly at Newcastle Airport, UK and trips to Manchester, Heathrow and air shows such as Midenhall Air Fete and the International Air Tattoo. I am now slowly uploading all the photos of aircraft I have taken since then. Nice!

XFW 31 Mar 1999
First of many trips to Finkenwerder, courtesy of Gill Airways' Stansted-Hamburg flight. Not sure why the boarding pass suggests it was a Eurowings flight, but there was probably a code share (Gill took over the EW flight between DUS and NCL , Gill flew STN-CDG for KLM UK, Eurowings was closely aligned to KLM at the time hubbing through Amsterdam.....)
The Monarch A321 G-MARA was departing on delivery. It was broken up at Shannon in August 2020.
The final photo of the Ryanair is EI-CSA, their first 737-800 (of over 400 since). It is currently parked in Jinan, China, presumably for freighter conversion.
The A300 was one of the last built, as a pure freighter for United Parcel Service, for whom it still operates.
